Welcome to Nicholson Kids

Our goal at Nicholson Kids is to partner with families to help children discover God through lessons that teach bliblical truth about who God is and to understand the love of Jesus Christ. These lessons are intentially designed to help kids build relationships with one another and grow in their faith journey.

Your First Visit

When you arrive, look for our Welcome Center sign on the side of the building. We have reserved parking here for those with preschoolers. Once inside, our welcome team will happily show you to the check-in area where you can get your family registered. You'll be welcomed by a Nicholson Kids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how Nicholson Kids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

We Value Your Child's Safety
At Nicholson, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system we use for every child. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the LifeKids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.
Every Nicholson Kids volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each service to make sure your child stays safe and secure.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will send you a text message.

The Kids Church Experience

At 9:00, the kids meet in small groups. The kids engage in age-appropriate, interactive Bible lessons exploring important Bible lessons and themes from the Old and New Testament. Even our nursery has monthly themes that are talked about during their visit. It’s never too early to introduce kids to Jesus and His love for them.
Then at 10:00 our preschool and elementary kids move to a large group in Kids Church. This is an engaging, interactive service where they learn about God through the Bible, discussions, activities, songs, games and crafts.
